Takara was born and raised in San Bernardino and is the eldest of 6 siblings

She is s special education teacher for the San Bernardino School District and has one of the most challenging but rewarding jobs working with preschoolers from age 3-5

Takara struggled with her weight since she was a little girl, and never really knew how lose weight the healthy way

She would starve herself and find that even after she lost weight, she would not only gain the weight back, but add on more!

Takara started her weight loss journey at the camp weighing in at 241 pounds

She was depressed and went in determined to simply lose weight, but walking out, she gained so much more than that

Todays Podcast is about Takara's journey from overweight and depressed, to a healthy life filled with happiness and fulfillment!
